Nutrition With a Purpose

Why Standard Process?

Healthcare services imageNot all supplements are created the same. At Rise, we chose Standard Process because of their long-standing focus on whole food-based nutrition, quality ingredients, and careful manufacturing.

Standard Process has been making nutritional supplements since 1929. Many of the plant ingredients used in their products are grown on their own certified organic farm in Wisconsin, giving them control over quality from the soil all the way through manufacturing.

Their approach begins with whole-food ingredients—such as beets, kale, buckwheat, barley grass, and Spanish black radish—and uses processing methods designed to preserve their nutritional value. Their formulas can also include extracts, botanicals, animal-derived ingredients, and selected added nutrients depending on the specific product.

Standard Process also tests raw materials and finished products for things like identity, potency, purity, and safety, with quality-control testing throughout production.

For us, it comes down to quality. If we're going to recommend nutritional support to our patients, we want to feel confident about what we're recommending.

Supplements Shouldn’t Be One Size Fits All

Healthcare services imageWalk into any supplement aisle and the options can feel endless. More isn’t always better—and what works well for one person may not be what another person needs.

At Rise, we take a personalized approach to supplementation. Rather than recommending products simply because they’re popular or because they’re commonly associated with a certain concern, we look at the bigger picture—your nutrition, lifestyle, wellness goals, and individual needs.

For patients participating in Nutritional Response Testing, Standard Process supplements may be incorporated into a personalized nutritional plan based on what we learn during your assessment.

And as your needs change, your supplement plan can change too. We can reassess over time and make adjustments rather than assuming you should stay on the same products indefinitely.

The goal isn’t to take more supplements. It’s to be more intentional about the ones you take.
